You can use http://myvtc.net to get a free VTC (Virtual Truck Company) panel. Or you can make a VTC panel of your own, there are also some for sale out there. Next you can create a topic on the forums for your company, be sure to read virtual trucking company vtc owners read-requirements before posting one tho.

Please make sure your installed OS has the right codecs to play the music. I'm not sure exactly which codec you need but I had this problem before with running the N-edition of Windows. In that case installing the K-lite codec pack or Windows Media Player solved the problem.

What do you like about Rotterdam? The interaction with a lot of other drivers and the feeling of some sort of traffic jam/rush hour. Combined with the fact that my girlfriend lives there in real life. What do you dislike? The low FPS I have in Rotterdam, sadness of not being able to get the full experience. How do other players behave? Rotterdam is the major city of this game, it's where continuously the most players are. With that also come a lot of players who don't have sufficient driving skills yet, next to the people who just don't care about how they drive. With that going on in Rotterdam, combined with the FPS drops, I try to stay away from Rotterdam as much as possible. What can other players do to improve the city? Nothing, there will always be new players to the game and they will go to Rotterdam to check out how awesome the multiplayer really is. And honestly, we can't blame them from having insufficient driving skills at that point. None of us was born a pro-trucker.

I saw this too. Seems like fairly basic functionallity so I hope it will be added very soon, especially for cases such as this.

Ah I see, I do appear on the map now. However, I noticed my display name is diffrent from my steam name. So I logged in at the homepage of ets2mp.com and tried changing my name there. It seems that this functionality is not yet available and I can't change my name? Do I need to somehow delete my account (I have not found this functionality either) to create a new one with the right display name or is there anyone which I can request to change the name for me?

Hello all, I'm wondering why I can't get myself to appear on the http://ets2map.com. I notice that myself and also some other drivers are not appearing, yet loads of truck seem to appear fine on the map. It's no longer required to install something extra in order to appear on the map right? I've tried relogging, driving a distance, being online for longer time, none of these seem to work.

Re-download the file again. This time, instead of choosing "open", choose save and open it when it's downloaded.

I fully support this patch! The speedlimit changes are in my opinion perfect. Personally I won't ever drive faster then 90kmph myself but I think this is a nice midway for people who would like it to go a little bit faster.

Figured it out, it's just the 4k screens having bad support (everywhere). I turned the resolution down to 1920x1080 and scaled everything up to %125 size and now everything is looking fine.

Videocard driver is up to the latest version. I hope I don't have to reduce my desktop resolution to solve this problem?... My ingame resolution doesn't change anything to the font.

Hello all, I recently got an upgrade in terms of a new laptop, with also an upgrade to my resolution. I have a 4k ultra HD screen now, which causes me to have huge size fonts and texts overlapping ingame. I've set my resolution to different resolutions, even the resolution used by my old laptop but this didn't solve the problem. Most players tend to forget that they're playing a simulation game. Think about the word for a second, simulation. It means a reconstruction of a real life situation. Therefor I feel that players should also act like it's a real life situation. Drive at realistic speeds, take realistic turns and don't do things on the road in ETS2MP, that you wouldn't do on the road in real life either. Other then that, apply common sense and you're all settled to have a great time (and by doing so, giving others a great time too) !

Sounds like a great update. Not entirely sure about the speedlimitations removal though.. I guess as convoy's we'll still maintain a speed of 80/90 kmph just to be on the safe side. Those Formula 1 sounds made me laugh xD

Hello all, I'm sure by now we all know that the traffic lights are bugged. I can find info about them being bugged all over the forum and facebook. However I can't find anywhere there the devs have acknowledged that they are aware of the bug and that they're working on it and what their current status on fixing the bug is and an ETA for the fix. I'd like to hear about this.
