With the recent announcement of buses in TruckersMP, I am quite curious to find out the following: Will we expect buses to arrive in the simulation servers or a new server? Other than the bluebus mod, are there any plans to support more bus mods in the game (i.e Iveco evadys)

It's only possible to do this by adding someone as friends. If you bought your games using keys, Steam doesn't count this towards the $5 because activating a retail game won't remove the restriction your account has. You can remove your restriction by paying at least $5 on games, DLCs, etc from the Steam store. You need to ask your friends to add you by: 1. Go to the Friends Tab 2. Add a friend. 3. Copy the Friend Code 4. Send the Friend Code and ask them to add you. If you can, you can also send a quick invite to your friends.

Promods 2.60 has recently introduced a new death road at North Iceland. The road mainly consists of narrow roads, bends and possibly some slippery surfaces, but is a bit more easier to drive through compared to the Kirkness Quarry Road. This guide will cover some tips and tricks to surviving the Iceland death road. Tips to surviving the road: Avoid transporting a double, triple or long trailer through the road - These trailers are highly likely to cause your truck to get stuck around the bends. You could end up getting punished for blocking if the truck gets stuck for too long. Do NOT overtake anywhere on narrow roads unless it is absolutely essential - It is too dangerous to overtake on narrow roads as you run the risk of conflicting with oncoming traffic. You need to have a good enough reason to overtake (i.e. the truck has stopped and you have plenty of space to overtake). A slow truck driver is not a good enough reason to overtake. Avoid driving over 20mph/31kmh throughout the road - Unless you want to arrive with a damaged truck. Make sure you have diff lock assigned to a button - This may be useful if your truck gets stuck. Teleport to a garage if your truck is beached - If you are unable to unstuck yourself after diff lock and lifting the axle, teleport to a garage as you risk blocking traffic behind. If you are driving with friends, please be careful when driving around with other road users - Although there's nothing wrong with driving with friends, please be kind to other road users around the narrow roads. Expect some separation to occur as you may be required to give way to other traffic. It is highly recommended you switch off the Winter physics mod - The physics mod may make driving through the area horribly difficult. It is best to have this switched off for now. Please also refer to this post by @Fummelprinz as these points are useful: Bended road section: This portion of the road is very narrow and can be difficult to deal with conflicting oncoming traffic. For this section of the road: Drive as closely to the right as possible - This will allow oncoming traffic to drive through the road without any conflicts. However, do not drive too closely to the right - Otherwise your truck may beach and you'll have to F7. If you are carrying a trailer, pull out as much as you can through the bends - This will prevent your trailer from getting stuck at the corner. This is particularly important for the first bend. https://imgur.com/lEafXLB Give way to whoever arrived at the bend first. Make sure you stop before the bend and give the other driver enough space to pass - This will make it easier for the other driver to drive around the bend. At the entry of the road, give way to drivers leaving the road - If you are entering the death road, give way to drivers leaving the road. This is because the entry is too narrow for 2 trucks to fit through. https://imgur.com/3zsSjWq Eimskip area: This area can be relatively simple but will require cooperation between drivers to avoid conflicts. The main concern about this road is the 2 buildings that make the road narrow. For this portion of the death road: Give way to drivers leaving the cargo company - The road is a bit too narrow to accommodate 2 drivers. Suggestion Name: In-game Monthly Challenges Suggestion Description: There are a list of challenges users can complete in ETS2MP or ATSMP (depending on which games the user is registered to). Completing the list of challenges will grant users with some awards whether that might be cabin accessories, vehicles, paintjobs, badges, etc. The challenges will reset at the start of the month. Examples: Complete 10 jobs from Manchester Complete 5 jobs using the Refrigerated trailer Complete 10 jobs to Lyon Complete 2 jobs using any IVECO truck Complete a job via any ferry port in Denmark Complete 3 jobs without driving through Calais Why should it be added?: I am suggesting this in reference to the post below as it is sometimes difficult to choose which route to complete or which truck to use. Additionally, this should partially ease traffic from the C-D road and improve traffic in other areas of the map.

Suggestion Name: A dedicated section for in-game challenge proposals Suggestion Description: A dedicated section for challenge proposals will allow TMP Forum users to propose some challenges for the community to do. Whether that might be a speedrun of deliveries, heavy haulage with an iveco or road to simulation challenges, the user can be creative with the challenge and its conditions. The section will be moderated and will require a moderation approval before the challenge is visible to other users. If possible, there should be some award for completing the challenge such as badges which are shown on the forum profile. The format people should follow should be: Title: Description: Rules and conditions: Why should it be added? I've seen some users in TMP Forums propose some challenges that the community can complete. However, there isn't a dedicated section for this and so would usually be posted in Discussion. Unfortunately, these usually get archived as per the inactivity rule imposed on discussions. Adding this section can allow users to propose challenges to make TruckersMP fun for users. It brings in some element of challenge to the user so they wouldn't have to get bored doing the same job through the C-D road.

I have added a few more points in the guide that may be useful. Something that I commonly see in TruckersMP is people preventing other drivers from overtaking by speeding up or blocking their way. This is very dangerous behaviour and will likely find yourself in trouble. Happy trucking and Merry Christmas!

In your game settings, is your V-sync set to Economy. Try disabling V-sync as Economy will cap your FPS at 30.
