  1. My PSU fan isn't working anymore and I cannot afford to get a new one at the moment because im poor. RIP.

    My PC is doing fine surprisingly however, my PC only crashes once everyday because of the heat. it's not so good for the PSU but I love gaming i don't want to stop xD

      Go careful matey if that psu blows it prob take most of your kit out its a lot of amps!! you not got a spare 120mm fan u can use to take some of the heat away

      In 5 years, I'm on my third PSU :P. I 've never had a problem with the fan stopping on them. My current PSU fan makes a grumbling noise when I first start my PSU but that is due to the bearing being worn out. I'm not really worried about it as both of my case fans make the same noise as well.

       

      I wouldn't ever open a PSU though. Those capacitors can keep a strong charge over a long period of time so even if you think you have discharged them I wouldn't risk it.
