Is it possible with the new update that make the steering wheel a separate model to completely disable it ingame for us who use our own physical steering wheels? I heard some time ago that it should be possible by using the console. Not entirely sure if this can be done though.

I would rather not downgrade as it always corrupt my save files. I'll be waiting with great anticipation.

The car is going to be a pain as so far I have only seen people abusing them to overtake trucks in a most dangerous manner, and I found a group of ten people just trolling trucks trying to enter the port at Karlskrona.

I did the mistake downgrading again and lost all my save data. Just gonns wait for the update as well, not worth risking.

Wake up and smell the coffee, this is 2016. I still fail to understand why people still stick with their old x86 operating systems and hardware when there is little to no support for it nowadays.

I always get save game issues when they release new patches and I have to downgrade to an older version. Pretty much everytime SCS Software roll out a new patch, and the Multiplayer team try to catch up I have to start a brand new save file.

Need better mirrors for the winter mod, the ETS2MP server is extremely slow.

They are probably updating the link for it. I was too excited and installed the same version two times before I realized the version didn't match to the new patch. Edit: Now I believe everyone can download it.

Whenever I try to do this by followng the video it corrupts the save file, (mad backups thankfully), and only show a bunch of NUL icons in Notepad++.

If I say own the Scandinavian paintjobs DLC, but my friend doesn't. How will it look like for my friend when I drive up to him using the Scandinavian paintjobs?

This occurs alot if you alt-tab while moving around other players.

Done, no success. It worked just fine on previous patches and only occured just now after 1.18. I find it hard to believe that there is something wrong on my side. As I said, it happens randomly. Sometimes it will let me execute the client, but refuse to connect, and sometimes it won't let me start at all and give me the validation error.

So, basically the servers show as offline for me, (all of them), and when I try to launch the executable I get the failed to validate game version error. Sometimes it will let me launch, but when I try to connect I spawn with the offline message in the top right corner. I use the most recent client from ETS2MP, and I use the correct update for ETS2 itself on Steam. Is this something occuring for everyone at the moment?

So I've heard as well, never tried it though. Will do next time I enter a city. I find it difficult to steer with my mouse in outside view though.

I use the latest 347.88 video driver. These problems started way before 0.1.5 launched, so it is not a driver related issue, but it has become more and more common after the first version of 0.1.5.

I don't have a crash log of the most recent crash caused by this as I have been avoiding unnecessarily highly populated cities lately due to this, but I will make sure to post it when I crash again. It doesn't matter what area or city, as long as it got a population of around ten+ players. It happens at random.

I'm gonna bump this, I still have very strange and annoying trouble with this issue.

This option is disabled for me as default.
