What if .... We had the option to port our Banners and Colors in all their Glory over to TMP for everyone to see by now....  

 

What would it change ??? 

How would it change the VTC Landscape ??   

Would it be more or less?? 

Better designs over time or worse ???

I have to say its quite a struggle to find a Layout and Design that pleases the Eye and gets your message over.  especialy when you never had to deal with this things before. 

 

Now i know that many VTC got their Media done with that Banners in the spotlight  and not less of them are very impressive. 

 

Some simple but effective and some done with quite a lot of effort. 

 

Now how do you think it would look like at the Hot Spots ??   To see the Who is Who in virtual Transportation and Logistics ??  not have to bother anymore that 150 other companys use the exactly same colorcode and pattern like you do.

I'll give my personal opinion, it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me, on the contrary, it's a very good idea, of course, there are many companies in the VTC, which I think would be somewhat [overloaded] the work for the TruckersMP team.

This is my personal opinion, I hope you take it into consideration.

They say implement things is easy and the companies provide a read-to-use zip file.... so where it suppose to be to much work of any kind ???   

 

  Spedv is constantly adds this zip files to their database and they are known for their Sloth alike Work ethic.     

 

This excuse is gets bald ,old and a long beard.....

Worst case scenario, 99% players that don't have a combination of superfast internet and NASA computers will lag out in this game.

 

And TMP will have to somehow withdraw this whole thing.

 

Remember when SCS pushed an update of the little flag on top of your side view mirror? That. People had 0fps whenever someone uses the flag nearby. The game was unplayable until the option to disable flag/animation was implemented. Same thing when SCS allowed you to put dogs and refrigerators in your interior. I guess this thing is not gonna happen a 3rd time.

 

Also, eventually there is going to be a dedicated team of staff members to censor and approve these banners. People are going to show off their porn and profanity and dirty stuff in general. I can already see what kind of a mess that's gonna be.

and those most likely got a ping of 300 ... lag like hell and still trolling around in a car on the C-D route ...  

 

to be bluntly honest my friend , WHY is this YOUR concern ??  is it your fault that they try to play the game with a Atari ??  i think not...  so why do you care about others??   

 

and on the other hand what got a paintjob to do with a animated flag or low poly fridge box ???   

 

save edits with multiple layers of crap and dozens of lights and beacons are a bigger problem then a static paintjob.  

 

i cant remember that anybody complained about lags while the pink ribbon event  and litterly everyone used a trailer with a non-vanilla paintjob that as good as nobody bought at the beginning. 

 

and by the way i still run this game on a 16year old Laptop .... so how shitty a Desktop pc might have to be to not get the job done ????
