No, by modifying a savegame to have more money or experience you cannot be banned.

I think what you're saying is "If you use it, will you get a ban"

My answer would be no, you can follow youtube videos on how to modify you money in your save file that are plastered on youtube to change your money and level.

The only way you would get banned would be to use the cheat engine malicously to modify or bypass set limitations.
