Hello :) 

 

First you should check if there are any updates for you graphic card and windows updates.

Clean your temp files with ccleaner https://www.ccleaner.com/

Also disable any mods that you use in SP.

 

Then follow these guides:

Solution 1:

1.Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework

2.Clean your temp files with CCleaner

3.Check your temp files path and make sure it's located at C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache

4.If you don't have "INetCache" folder make a new folder and name it "temp" and then open the Windows temp settings and choose the new path.

In addition to reinstalling your launcher and running it as Administrator, you can try these out too.

 

Make sure you have latest .NET Framework (or later), DirectX, and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015. You can check this guide too.

You can also use CCleaner to clean files and registry errors.

 

Additionally, you can check if your Firewall/antivirus is blocking the game.

 

Solution 2:

You should start TruckersMP as administrator. This is really important.

Also try to start TruckersMP with DirectX (64).

> Go to your Steam App

> Go to library

> Go to ETS 2 / ATS

> Click on "Play".

> Select "Start with DirectX (64-bit)". Make sure you have selected 64 bit.

> Start ETS 2

> Select your profile and press "drive".

> Close ETS 2

> Start TruckersMP as administrator. TruckersMP will start with DirectX for all times. Except that you change it again.

Hello,

 

Solution 1 and Solution 2 failed.

When I start TruckersMP as administrator, the black screen comes up. It doesn't open the game, it gives "Cannot create temp crash log file!" error again when I press Alt + Tab.

Hello :) 

Do you have this Problem just on MP or SP too?

Which system you are using? -> 32 or 64 bit?

Do you use any mods ? If yes, try to remove all of them, then start game

 

Have you tried reinstalling TruckersMP Launcher?

Follow this:

> Press the Windows key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard.

> Type "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotation marks).

> Search for the folder "TruckersMP" and delete this folder.

> Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder "TruckersMP Launcher".

> Go to our website and download the launcher again with administrator rights and install it https://truckersmp.com/download/

 

Also try this

> Go to Steam library

> Right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2

> Properties

> Local Files

> Verify in-game files 

 

And:

> Go to ETS 2 / ATS
> Click "Play" 
> Choose "Launch with DirectX (64-bit). Make sure you chose 64 bit.
> Start ETS 2
> Choose your profile and press "drive"
> Close ETS 2

Hi there,

Try these:

Solution 1:

Step 1:
1. Open Steam, go to the LIBRARY -> GAMES
2. Right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 and open Properties
3. After the Properties window has opened click LOCAL FILES tab and press BROWSE LOCAL FILES
4. A folder with game files opens. Remember the path to this folder

 

Step 2:
1. Click Start -> Run (or WIN+R)
2. Type regedit and hit enter
3. Follow the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TruckersMP
4. Look at the value parameter "InstallLocationETS2"?

 

Step 3:
1. Copy the folder address from STEP 1
2. Change the value parameter "InstallLocationETS2" (Insert the copied folder address)

3. Click OK.

 

Solution 2:

Step 1. 
Right click your 'Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer' / 'American Truck Simulators Multiplayer' .exe file, whether it be the shortcut on the desktop or actual file and then click properties.

Step 2.
If you right clicked it's shortcut, make sure you clicked the shortcut tab.
If you clicked the .exe file, make sure you are on the general tab.
You should see a section say: (   Target: "C:\Program Files\TruckersMP\launcher_ets2mp.exe"   ) OR it's custom install path. (Minus the brackets)
What you need to do is on the end of it, add: (   -homedir C:\Users\Michael\Documents\ETS2MP   ) 
It should look something like: (   Target: "C:\Program Files\TruckersMP\launcher_ets2mp.exe" -homedir C:\Users\Michael\Documents\ETS2MP )

Hello 

Solution 1: Right click on "TruckersMP Client", Navigate to "Properties" and click on "Compatibility"

Tick the box: "Run this program as an administrator" and click apply and ok

Solution 2 Part 1: Open "Steam Client", Navigate to "Steam" at the top left hand side and click on "Settings".
Click on "Downloads", and navigate to "Steam Library Folder", and click it. Now right click on the shown folder

Solution 2 Part 2: Still using the "Steam Client", Navigate to the "Library" tab and click on it.
Right click on either ATS or ETS2, depending on which Game provides the error.
Click on "Properties", Navigate to "Local Files", and click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files".

This will verify all your Game files and replace any files that may be damaged or missing.
Once the process has completed, hopefully this fixes the error for you.

If you continue to see the error message, then uninstall and reinstall your Game.

Uninstalling a Game through "Steam Client": Locate "Library" on Steam, and click on it.
Now choose the Game that you would like to uninstall, right click on it, and click "Uninstall".

Reinstalling your Game through "Steam Client": Click on the Game that you want to "Install" and a blue install box will appear, click it

Now, sit back, relax and wait for your Game to install. Any issues that you were experiencing with "Cannot Create Game Process", should now be fixed.
