Error Occurred contacting Update Servers

So I downgraded my ETS as per the popup post, but now when I try to run truckersMP, I get the following error:

 

Is this part of the whole issue or what?

Hitting Ok does nothing.

7 Save the file somewhere safe (eg. on your desktop) as a backup

10 Close Registry editor and reboot

This is caused by bad connection. 

 

Try running TMP as an administrator

 

1) Right click on TMP (TruckersMP)

2) Click run as an administrator

 

Maybe restart your WiFi box and that should help

   Thanks.  I was also having the same problem, this seemed to fix my problem.  Will have to bookmark this for the future.

I would like to know if your problem has been solved?

if not,follow this steps:

 

First, check if ETS2 process is running. If so, end it and try again. 

If this doesn't help delete core_ets2mp.dll, re-open launcher and re-download file.  

 

How to find the file core_ets2mp.dll,please try the following steps:

1.) Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
2.) Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
3.) Find the folder "TruckersMP" and open that folder.
4.) Then you will find the file core_ets2mp.dll and delete it
5.) Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"
