When I try to drive the car, the car won't get out of first gear and won't go above 20 MPH, i'm in simple automatic, the truck speed limiter is off so I don't understand why it won't shift into 2nd gear and so on and just sticks at 20mph?

Hey buddy,

This is a bug,TruckersMP team hard work for that's bug fix,Just wait patiently for next updates,You must use H-Shifter ,this could be the solution.

Known Bug read about it below..

 

Solutions:

1) change to manual gear switching

2) When the car revs let go of the throttle for 1-2 seconds then hit full throttle and it should switch to 2nd gear.

This is a well known issue, While Truckersmp are working on fixing the car use "ctrl & shift" if you have wheel use the back paddles on your wheel.

Hello,

 

The developers are aware of this issue and they are currently working on a fix. The issue is that the automatic gearbox has got a bug on it. The solution to sort this out will be to use a manual gearbox or H-Shifter if possible.
