H-Shifter won't work on Multiplayer

So i can play singleplayer with the h-shifter without problems but it's not working on ETS2 Mp Anyone who knows why?

well i am playing with a g290 and it won't allow me to change the gears but works just fine in singleplayer, everything shows up and all the buttons are right so i don't know :/

Hi,

 

Sometimes the settings get reset in multiplayer. Have you, as already stated above, selected your steering wheel and H-Shifter as your main devices? If so, un-plug the device and then plug it back in after 30 seconds. Then, go through the whole steering wheel setup wizard. If that does not work, then try to reinstall the client.

Try this:
Go to options > controls

1. Choose Shifter Layout Behaviour: Advanced

2. Then choose one of these options: range+split, zf, scania 12 speeds, volvo etc...
3. Go back to game and try to change gear.

 

if it doesn't work go back to step 2 and choose different options. Try 3-4 options and then if it doesn't work, go back to options and reset the clutch hotkey and bind it again.

Start the game in single player and disable force feedback. Start multiplayer after.

or you can restart your computer and then reset it
