Light useage

Noticed the game kicks you within 10 seconds, at 4 pm sharp for failure to have your lights on. Is this a bug? Or a rule change? Thought it was 7pm to 7am for needing to have your lights on. And either time, can we have more than 10 seconds to react. By the time I noticed the ingame message in the lower left, I was kicked.

it is indeed a rule change due to the implementation of the Winter Mod to simulate a little more realism with regards to the amount of darkness that increases within the environment during such a season. (quoted below).

§4.2 Server Auto Kicks

Ping - If your ping is over 600ms to the server, you will be disconnected from the server in order to avoid desync issues for others. This ping check is taken as an average.

Double Trailers (ETS2) - Doubles are only allowed inside the Scandinavia DLC. Taking them outside will cause the server to kick you.

Headlights - Headlights must always be on between the hours of 16:00 (4pm) - 07:00 (7am)     <---------

Hi,

 

yes like MettleMeat says the rules had some changes, so the best way is

to turn your lights on earlier than you get the red messages so you can´t get 

kicked by the System.
