installation directory problems

zalchord

Question

every time i open the launcher i need to install the available updates but once its done it says that i dont have the required version. i checked the version in game and it matches what i need so im pretty sure its just because when the launcher installs updates it installs to my C drive instead of my K drive where all of the other files are and I have no idea why it installs the the C drive instead of where the launcher is located. So I want to know how to fix that

Solution in fixing this problem:

1.) Simply uninstall the TruckersMP Client.

2.) Copy your "Steam" Folder in "Program Files x86" to your external HDD

3.) Reinstall the TruckersMP Multiplayer Client: Click Here

4.) Select the save destination (Steam/steamapps/common/euro truck simulator 2)

5.) Once installed, make sure your ETS2 version on Steam is "public_beta 1.28 public beta"

6.) Finished installing? Now you can load the "TruckersMP Multiplayer Client" (Install available updates) if necessary.

This method can be used the same way for ATSMP. I hope this resolves your current problem. :D
