You have to check your ETS :)

Open Steam / Euro Truck Simulator 2 / Properties / Local Files / Verify Integrity Of Game Cache

You have to download new profile :)
It can be found here

Maybe the problem is in your Internet, check here

the problem is not within the graphics card and the game. The problem is with in the connection, try pinging 1.eu.game.ets2mp.com.

If it's high then I suggest you contact your ISP or upgrade your router with a higher bandwith. If it still won't work then I suggest playing on NA severs.

@3567- I've only had this problem when I got my new PC

Does it happen all the time or only in high population areas?

So we can possibly rule out an internet connection issue so it must be something to do with your PC.

If you can, could you list your computer specifications so that I can find you a download to update your network adapter?

Have you tried turning your router off for 1 minute and then turning it back on?
