I always freeze when I want to travel with a boat.

how can I fix this problem.

This is a common topic. When you fast travel, travel by boat or train or generally sleep in the game; The Singleplayer time is catching up to Multiplayer causing it to freeze in a black screen usually and this will go away after 5-10 minutes of waiting. Here are a few other threads about this:

Verify the integrity of the game cache. If that doesn't work, reinstall the mod and the base game and disable your antivirus

I guess your profile contains too much drivers and trucks. Try sell those trucks and fire those drivers. 5-10 driver and extra trucks are enough for some costs.

 

Another solution, check your documents->Euro Truck Simulator 2 old version of game files(they look like blablabla.bak). If there is still 1.15.bak or something like that, delete them. They use too much area in files. You can keep 1.24 and also of course 1.25.

 

If you use too many mods, deactivate unnecessary ones. Mods can break your game or profile files. Do not use too much mods, if you can.
