0 SlavaH Posted October 20, 2016 Report Posted October 20, 2016 Hi, this is how to fix "An error occurred while updating ETS2" (Or other games).Go to Steam > Settings > Downloads You will see "Download Region". Change to another region. After doing that, steam will ask to restart and after your game will update/download!
0 Leff12345 Posted October 20, 2016 Report Posted October 20, 2016 Hey Try first of all reinstalling ETS2, and reformat the directory too if the reinstallment of ETS2 the first time doesn't solve the issue
0 Penguin Posted October 20, 2016 Report Posted October 20, 2016 Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_64x Once there, right click the application 'eurotrucks2.exe' and click on 'Properties' Once the Properties menu appears, please Click on the 'Security' tab and give all users there Full Control. (Make sure everything is ticked for all users) This 'should' unlock the file. Current Status: Waddle On!
