Steam Update

Hello,

 

I cannot run the downgraded version of either truck sim. Steam does not like it for me. Is there any ETA on when a compatible MP will be available? I hope soon. I really love your guys' work on this. Brought to game to a whole new fun for me.

 

I hope this is an okay place to put this.

The new MP update compatible with the 1.25 will be worked on when the version is out of public beta (full release), so it will take some time, but it's not far away.

 

But to just try to help you out a bit, here's a guide on how to downgrade if you haven't already seen it;

I've done that with ATS and ETS2, but my Steam does not like it. Also, I thought 1.25 was out of beta, I am not registered to update with betas.......... So why am I at 1.25

So, please backup your "ETS2MP" and "Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder located at Documents and then delete from documents.

 

Or you can only try to delete "profiles(1.25.x.xs).bak" at "Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder....

If you did what the forum said that Leff posted then you should be able to play on MP with your game downgraded on version 1.24.

 

When you said you're still at 1.25 that means that you haven't downgraded properly. Make sure to let steam download the files for 1.24

Umm........did you read what I said? I did that. Steam no likey. Steam say won't run downgrade. Kagesong no can play MP, cus Steam not always work right.

@kagesong did you tried to restart steam with admin rights and tried to downgrade ?
