How can i make my truck sound real?

Is it possible to make my trucks engine sound any better than the default truck engine sounds?

No, because TruckersMP only supports a very selected few mods, only those mods are able to be used in-game. These mods can be found here:

SCS spend alot of time and money at recording sessions with all the trucks in game, so they are as realistic as they can be. The way they process the sound files affects the sound effects you hear in game a little, nevertheless, the sounds loaded into the default game are products of recording actual trucks.

 

the TruckersMP mod processes alot of the sounds, unfortunately on some occasions the sounds are not the best representation of the single player sounds. eg. when another player accelerates, this was built into single player as a secondary sound whereas the multiplayer attempts to use it as a primary sound (one that you hear all the time)

 

There are many mods out there you can use, but only for single player as TruckersMP only supports the mods listed in the topic linked in the first reply

You can find a big list of mods on websites like: http://ets2.lt/en/ or http://ets2mods.com/en/ or http://ets2downloads.com/.

 

Note: look at the game versions

Not every mod works at any game version

Im sorry but no, mp only supports base game. but if you play SP you could try mods, there plenty of them
