To do so, follow my steps: Go to Steam --> Right Click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 --> Go To Properties --> BETAS --> Choose 1.23.x Version. 0 Subtle [HKG] Posted June 10, 2016 Share Posted June 10, 2016 make sure you've chosen the correct version , in this case, it should be "temporary_1_23-1.23.x for incompatible mods".Other than that, try to run the game as administrator.Hope that this might work. As shown from your picture, your friend cannot use this save because it has 1.24 content in it, but the Multiplayer only supports 1.23 until this moment.
