0 DFS_TV Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 Complete the following steps: Restart your PC Run Steam as Administrator Run Euro Truck Simulator 2 If works, then log out of Euro Truck Sim 2, and run Multiplayer as an Administrator and everything should work. If it still shows you that error do the following: Uninstall ETS 2 Restart PC Uninstall Steam Restart PC Scan your computer for any infections and remove them, I recommend using AVG Anti-Virus to scan your PC Scan and clean your PC with Malewarebytes Anti-Maleware Restart PC Run Windows Update, let them install Restart PC Download latest drivers Restart PC Install Steam Install Euro Truck Sim 2 Restart PC Install Multiplayer Run Steam as an Administrator Run Euro Truck Sim 2 as Administrator Exit from ETS 2 Run Multiplayer as an Administrator Both programs listed above are free. Also do not attempt to download a .dll from a website, most contain harmful implants such as spyware, maleware, etc. It is crucial to restart your PC at the steps I posted above, as when your PC restarts, it can finish installing, finish uninstalling, or complete a specific command during start up. 0 [ S.PLH ] Warrior Posted December 31, 2014 Share Posted December 31, 2014 When installing ets2 multiplayer at the end of installer you have 2 options to vink on Make sure both are selected And also if you got virusscanner check if there are any files in your quarantaine that says dll It can be that are some files are placed in there as false postive I suggest you temporary shut down your virus program Uninstall your old version of multiplayer before installing again Download en install your ets2 multiplayer be sure its in the right maps Open shortcut with admin right and check if the game works If it works then you must add files or even better the whole map in your antivirus program at white list Cause then your program will not scan them and prevent from removing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
