Can't Find ETS2MP Executable

Hi! I picked up ETS 2 during the recent holiday steam sale and i am loving it. After a while, i then learned that the multiplayer variant was a separate install. I tried to install it normally and was told that it couldn't find the exe. I browsed but the exe was not showing up in the correct folder. I then looked up some youtube videos which (to summarize) said to install it in the ETS 2 Folder and not the default location. It also said that the exe should not be hidden. In the attached screenshots, they show various things.

 

• 7861 shows the error when i tried launching the application after installation.
• 7863 shows that the exe is not showing up when browsing for it.
• 7864 shows the exe in that very same location of 7863 and that all hidden files are shown. The only file that is hidden in that folder is desktop.ini.
• 7865 shows the properties for the exe. It shows that the exe is not checked for hidden.
• 7866 shows the steam properties. One youtube video said to select the latest beta opt-in. The default property is to opt-out of all betas.

Any suggestions that i can try so that i can try out multiplayer?

If your trying to use mp you have the wrong beta. Due to the new update you need to have the beta selected on NONE - Opt out of all

The directory should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x86". The first letter is depending on what drive you've got Steam installed on - but I've got i on the C-drive; good luck!

Try copying, and then paste this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2
