can anyone help me please every time when i save a game then load a game back up it isn't where i saved it from so i was in rotterdam so i saved it and loaded it up and i am at camebridge how come? if anyone can help me that would be great thanks.

Hi mate,

 

Please create a new profile, then copy its config file to the current profile's folder. (Then you may have to re assign your keyboard/controller keys.)

can i keep my old profile because i have done so well on that one but it comes up with warning every time.

Hi again,

 

Copying the new profile's config file to the existing profile will not effect your levels etc. It just resets the config, which manages the economy etc. So, you don't need to play with the new profile, you of course can continue to play with your current profile. 

 

After copying the new profile's config, you can delete the new profile from your game interface.

Hi I have tried this and it still doesn't work I went to Amsterdam and saved it and loaded it back up and it went to camebridge and not to Amsterdam.

remember that you must enable quick save option after you clicked on load game 

it should be listed, the one you see those are automatic saves, and not display the saves you made.

to be honest the best way is creating a new profile for multiplayer so you can use your other profile just for singleplayer with mods 

 

we have a starter profile isn't much but for a starter is nice

That's incorrect. You always get that message (it isn't necessarily an error) if you have g_force_economy_reset set to 1.

 

OP: Go to My Document\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\<your profile> and open the file config.cfg with Notepad or a text editor of your choice.

 

Find the line uset g_force_economy_reset

If it looks like this:

uset g_force_economy_reset "1"

then change it to:

uset g_force_economy_reset "0"
