A quick question regarding paintjobs

If I say own the Scandinavian paintjobs DLC, but my friend doesn't. How will it look like for my friend when I drive up to him using the Scandinavian paintjobs?

It will render the default paint jobs. Usually the default paint your truck came with before buying it.

So the official paint packs dont show up to people who dont own them?

^ Correct. Same with the High Value Cargo. All you see is an empty trailer if you don't own the DLC. Same for paint jobs. You see the default paint if you don't have the DLC. 

 

But don't be fooled. There is an empty trailer mod.

Yeah and with the ports you will just see a dead end e.g if you dont have Scandinavia DLC

Sometimes the game does handle to load a paint skin with similar coulors. But sometimes not
