Suggestion Name: [Command] Thank players 

 

Suggestion Description:

A command, if executed, shows a “Thank you”-Massage to the given player.

 

Any example images: 

 

 

Why should it be added?:

It would be a nice addition to the overall well-being of the community.

It's the perfect way to express your gratitude to others.

 

Furthermore, it received good feedback overall over on Discord

The original idea comes from @decaffeinatedtea

Well we already have the option to mention players with the @ in chat so i think this is not needed.

I guess a normal /pm command is fine for all these kind of tasks.

Do we really need a command for that though you can simply type “Thanks @ID”

 

tbh i never see the ID so i just type Thanks, and the person obviously knows it’s for them

I really like the positive idea behind this. It would provide a more visible feature to thank someone.

On the other hand it could be faster to just use "ty @1234" or use non-verbal signs like high beams or honking.

Thank you for your suggestion and to those that have commented. 

 

We have decided to reject this suggestion due to the fact there is simply no valid reason as to why this should be added. There are other ways where you can say thank you to players in-game, whether that's typing in chat, over CB Radio, etc. 

 

Once again, thank you for your suggestion.
