I feel very sorry when I went to buy a new computer to enhance the graphics and play the game on the highest settings and enjoy my new card and play online with my friends. But I am extremely surprised after buying this new computer, thinking to myself that I will move from my old place to a better place with this new computer, which has high capabilities. However, when entering the game and raising the settings, I get very suitable and high frame rates in the ofline game, or when playing online in the Cialis area, for example, the frame rates drop to 15 frames per second. It really turns my mood to 0 after all this excitement and waiting to get high frame rates, even if 60 frames per second would be very suitable. But getting 11 to 15 frames per second is a huge disappointment. It does not deserve the upgrade from my old device to the new one. After donations and the number of players exceeding millions and watching ads to log in and on the forum, all this does not give developers a chance to think about how to please players and solve this problem. Even if the game is old, it should be developed with higher graphics and server upgrades instead of waiting for years without benefit. Why was there no plan to consider such an issue? It is extremely annoying. Thank you to the support team and players who must recognize that it is time for change and development of the game instead of that chaos. Thank you. RedNub Posted February 9 Share Posted February 9 Hello there, @Captain John First of all, welcome at TruckersMP Forums! ---------------------------------- According to what you have explained you encounter with FPS issue which is one from known issues. Firstly, I wanna ask if you did some graphics update, because it could be cause by that, if the driver is wrongly set as there can be a betaversion of some driver. I recommend you to set up thus settings as written down there. There is not too much depends on your PC setup, however it can be more expensive or cheap and it don't have to change anything If you have an issues with FPS, look my guide I wrote for people here. Settings in - game - Enable Vsync - is always better to having a Stable FPS Rate around 60 than often a Jumping between 180 till 45 or lower. - Set Scale to 200% could be less 125% could be less - Disable MLAA - Disable DOF - Set all following Quality Settings to hight, it do not have everything on max quallity - it depends on your components in your PC - Disable Anisotropic Filtering by moving the Slider to the left Side. TruckersMP Launcher - try unclick some of them as Cabin Accesories in another trucks, Flags, and draw distance reduce to min. - Development Logging - Smoothing Distance - Load Cabin Accessoires - Load Flags - Aditional Lights - Draw Distance Also please remember, that FPS will drop dramaticlly if you are close or passing a really busy area, once you have crossed the area you will be fine, Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE - > Open taks manager - > Details - > there find TruckersMP - > and set highest priority for your game. As last step you can try to re-install your graphics drivers or re-install TMP Launcher Hope I could help you with my instructions! I don't really understand your situation or your opinion. What should TMP change? What do you at least require from TMP? Developing or changing something doesn't help. ETS2 The base is on an old engine! You can reduce settings to potato level, but then go to official TMP convoy meetup where there are 200+ people and get 5 FPS anyway. It's just that TMP is a third party modification that added multiplayer functionality to ETS2 (and ATS later), then a singleplayer game. Even today, ETS2 and ATS are only optimized for singleplayer and multiplayer for up to 8 players, game engine can still utilize only single processor core. I don't know what others have, how many fps they have when they enter Calais-Dusiburg, so it's hard to explain. However in my case I have still 30 fps up to 110 people in Calais, so there highly depends on your PC setup too.
