"Connetion refused. You are not owner of some dlc you use."

Even though I haven't used any third-party software or installed a cracked plugin, the game is not allowing me to connect because it detects that I'm using a DLC that I don't own. My friend, I have paid for this game and its DLCs! How can I resolve this?

And yes, I have MATCHED the damn DLCs through the settings.

"Steam Client", Navigate to the "Library" tab and click on it.

Right-click on either ATS or ETS2, depending on which Game provides the error.

Click on "Properties", Navigate to "Local Files", and click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files

Do you own any map DLC's?

Check the game directory. If you don't own any of the map DLC's, you'll have to remove the file with the respective name from game's installation directory. Here's a list for each ETS2 map DLC files with their respective name:

"dlc_east" - Going East!
"dlc_north" - Scandinavia
"dlc_fr" - Vive la France!
"dlc_it" - Italia
"dlc_balt" - Beyond the Baltic Sea
"dlc_balkan_e" - Road to Black Sea
"dlc_iberia" - Iberia

 

In case of ATS, you should have the following map DLC files if you haven't purchased additional map DLC's: 

"dlc_nevada" - Nevada

"dlc_arizona" - Arizona

 

Additional map DLC's will have the following file names:

"dlc_nm" - New Mexico

"dlc_mt" - Montana

"dlc_or" - Oregon

"dlc_wa" - Washington

"dlc_ut" - Utah

"dlc_id" - Idaho

"dlc_wy" - Wyoming

"dlc_co" - Colorado

"dlc_tx" - Texas
