Suggestion Description:
What is a Marker Interrupt Switch?
A marker interrupt switch is a switch on a steering wheel or a button on the dashboard that temporarily deactivates the marker lights and taillights of a vehicle. It's usually located in the right-hand switch pod on the steering wheel.
What is the purpose of this switch?
The marker interrupt switch is designed to temporarily disable the marker lights. This can be particularly useful for drivers who need to quickly turn off these lights in certain situations, such as when another driver flashes their headlights to signal you over or let you know that you are clear to change lanes.
Is this similar to the light horn?
In fact it is! While the light horn flashes the high beams on, the marker interrupt switch simply turns the marker lights off for a brief moment.
Why it should be added / Example images:
I think it would be amazing if TruckersMP implemented the use of the Marker Interrupt Switch. Most of the trucks in the USA (and even on American Truck Simulator) have a button that looks like this or a button on the dashboard that looks similar to this. This switch has been out for a very long time - I know this for a fact because my grandfather used to drive a 1999 International Eagle 9200 and he used to let me push the switch when I would ride along with him -- Just an FYI, I know this makes me seem old, but I am not over 30 .
Sorry for wasting everyone's time, I just thought this would be a cool and realistic addition to the game!
Thanks for your time!
