From what I underood from the stream, it's more of a "co-op" type of system, for smaller groups. TMP might suffer for the first part of its release, but it won't make much noticible damage to the playerbase I would imagine.

I joined TMP recently, and I always try to honk and flash my lights in a friendly gesture. Although I definetely agree that the majority (~75%) don't honk or flash lights back. It'd be nice if people did though! -
How many tows to service and how many fuel stop? Probs because I get bored after a while haha.
