Installing Local Mods

Hello I would like to install some local mods like the Scania sound pack and custom dash, but I have no idea how to do this.
Can someone please help me?

Hello.

 

First of all, the way your friend showed is probably for the old way. I think after 1.45 Local mod setup has changed a bit. 

 

Now you need a file to install Local mode And this file is shared publicly only on certain servers. Finding these servers is actually not that hard. You can easily access this file by searching for a few simple words on Yotube.

First off, Steam workshop mods won't work on TruckersMP (unless they use stock game parts, like the triple trailer mod). If you are looking to install and use local mods on TruckersMP, you can check out ALM Project.

I already tried this and it doesn't work.

Your modification must support your current ETS2 version. Additionally Steam modifications of ETS2 never work in TMP.
