As for your questions, it's normal for most of players, so I think you can set in the game graphic setting. Moreover, you can also reduce network activity and reduce your graphics settings to make everything run as smoothly as possible. Lucas mentioned using a VPN - if you do so, make sure to choose a location server as close to you as possible to minimise the ping time.
