Making a profile work after downgrading

Hey there! 

 

I just downloaded this mod and I am really excited to get started. I had a pretty good save going on the latest version of the game, however after down grading I am unable to use that save with Truckers MP. Is there a fix I can do to be able to use my save?

 

Or do I have to start a new game?

You need to make a new profile, or just download 1 save on the internet that is compatible with 1.39. There is no way you can use your own profile after downgrading im pretty sure.

 

when TMP supports 1.40 you can use your own profile again.

Unfortunately, the only options available to you right now are to either wait for TruckersMP to update to support version 1.40, or to start a new profile on 1.39.

 

Currently, it is unknown if there is an exact date for the release of the update to support 1.40, but based on information given in the forum article I will link below we may be able to expect it before the end of the month.

I suggest do these steps, which can solve and fix your problem.

 

1. Navigate to Folder:  \ Users \ thiag \ Documents \ Euro Truck Simulator 2 \ profiles (1.39.4.17s) .bak
2. Copy the Folder from your Profiles and paste it in the directory  \ Users \ thiag \ Documents \ Euro Truck Simulator 2 \ profiles

 

 

If you will create a new one for old version, here are some topics, which can help you with:

After doing this go into SinglePlayer mode and see if your Profile works in the Previous version.
