Good idea but I still agree with trademark.

It'd be useful because then you can be more specific in your report, so +1

Suggestion Name: Change rules for no turning around at Rotterdam and Europort
Suggestion Description: I park up at Europort sometimes and just have a look around using the free camera for people breaking rules to report, and I often see people without a trailer (sometimes with a trailer) just going round EP to turn back towards Rotterdam, only to find them coming back into EP again, then they turn around to Rotterdam, etc. etc. Therefore I think we should change the rules at Rotterdam and EP for no turning around.
Any example images: No.
Why should it be added?: I think it'd reduce traffic at Rotterdam and EP, also reducing accidents from reckless drivers without trailers.
-
^ Yes so for example in the command line the limit is 255 outputs, so I could imagine somewhere around that.

In relation to: https://forum.ets2mp.com/index.php?/topic/25338-use-left-and-right-arrow-keys-in-chat/
Suggestion Name: Being able to use the page up and page down keys or scrolling to view chat history
Suggestion Description: I think it'd be a good idea for the use of page up and page down keys to go up and down the chat history, like the command line. Or, some way to scroll up and down using the mouse wheel to view the chat history.
Any example images: No.
Why should it be added?: I think it'd be useful for people because then people wouldn't have to repeat messages as soon as it goes too far for the screen.

Yes, when your truck leaves a NCZ, your trailer also leaves NCZ, regardless if it is within the boundaries. But anyone in the NCZ won't crash into you because they're still in the NCZ. However if another truck were to leave the NCZ with your trailer sticking out, that truck would probably go on top of you, or you'd go underground. It happened to me at a motorway border rest area, I went on top of another truck.I've never really thought about that, but do you become collidable when your truck exits the zone regardless of where your trailer is? And what about entering?
That's why instead of driving into a ferry port and just going straight for the ferry, it's a better idea to go in and turn around so you can't block anyone who isn't in the NCZ yet, however EP has an extended NCZ which has solved most of them issues. Probably a good idea to to the same with other ports (eg. Hull and Harwich?)
When you enter a NCZ, the trailer becomes no collision to anyone else in the NCZ, but anyone waiting outside the NCZ will crash into you, but you won't feel it because you're in the NCZ, and they aren't.

^ But cheat engine is against the rules:
Hacking/Speedhacking/Bug abusing - First time: 1 month ban / Second time: 3 month ban / Third time: Permanent ban Updated
Using artificial tools to change gameplay, using cheat engine in order to bypass the speeding limiter or anything similar.

for me, personaly? no it wont... I would love to be able to turn of the blipp from me, that way drivers actualy have to look at the road, to see if there are oncomeing traffic, before overtaking.. ;)I don't see why this would leed to more trolling?
It'd cause trolling because they'll be AFK doing something like blocking, and you wouldn't be able to see them ahead in time and cause damage.
-
^ So if there was a mistake, you could use the left and right arrow keys to go back and forward in the chat. It'd probably have to be the arrow keys because it's just easier for the end user, plus it's probably easier for the developers if it was implemented.
-
^ But wouldn't turning off your broadcasting blip defeat the point of the blip system?
Just think of the trolling.. :0

Suggestion Name: Being able to use left and right arrow keys in chat
Suggestion Description: If I'm using the chat I try to use proper English without any mistakes, but if (for whatever reason) I do a long line of text and there's one mistake, I'd have to delete all of the text up until the mistake. Therefore it'd be easier to be able to just go back and delete the mistake instead of all of it.
Any example images: No.
Why should it be added?: It'd be easier for players to correct mistakes, as well as admins who'd need to instruct traffic quickly if there's a blockage or something.
New point from @FirestarteR93 (15/3/16):
QuotePeople wanted devs to allow steering while using the chat/tab menu - now that got added and now you want it to be gone again.
Instead of adding and then removing the same thing over and over and over and over again, can't we simply e.g. use the mouse for that as @BritishTeaBag (10/10 for the name) posted on the prev. page?

This system was removed in place of the current system since the old system allowed users to report users that were the other side of the map and were clearly nowhere ever near the incident at the time that it took place.
But wouldn't an IGA ban them for a false report?
EDIT: 10/4/16- Just noticed I bumped the thread after about 2 months

Hows about make an actual server queue, as oppose to refreshing and hoping to get in? Then its fair
Plus that way you could also have a timer to say an estimate when you can connect.
Example: "Server queue is full. Estimated waiting time: 02:30."
-
It would spam the chat. Isn't it a better idea to detect first-time playing in the login screen and show a notification which informs about the rules?
Aren't the ads that come up every few minutes spam though? But I still agree with the notification idea.
-
Good idea, but it'd make it less realistic.
-
You could have these..? (Examples) Sorry, I couldn't get all the pictures into one post.
-
Good idea. +1

Don't get me wrong, the concept of the idea is good, but the lag would be excruciatingly bad, especially places like ports and always busy cities.

To answer your suggestion, ets2c.com and ets2mp.com are not affiliated with each other. I know the creator of that site had an account on our old forum, but I'm not sure he has on this one.
So, to conclude: we can't change that website since it's not made by us.
Convoys are forbidden to start in Rotterdam anyways, So even if this is set as a starting point I am sure someone at some point would A. Either get into trouble or B. Be prevented from starting here before the start time. As long as you don't start any convoys there then that is one less person
But yeah ^^ Contact the creator of ets2c.com
Ok thanks very much!
-
^ I think OP is trying to say that there shouldn't be an option to start in Rotterdam due to high density.
That's right.
-
Suggestion Name: No option on ets2c.com for convoys to meet in Rotterdam
Suggestion Description: Rotterdam as you probably know is a very laggy place to be, and every so often there are convoys starting in Rotterdam, causing even more lag for other users. Therefore if there wasn't an option on ets2c.com for convoys to start in Rotterdam, the lag wouldn't be as bad there leading to more smooth running there.
Any example images: No.
Why should it be added?: It'd benefit other people who have to deliver their goods in Rotterdam or people who have to travel past.
-
Great news, hopefully would make lag areas like Rotterdam better due to more RAM utilisation.

I do that all the time.. But if I see someone else doing it, I give them a few horns and sometimes put it in the chat.
