As I said it was an idea that slipped through my mind, but I see the harmony of this community (for as far as it still exists) changed overtime in the 8 years I've been a member. As far as there even had been one.. What a shame.

It's not about the convenience alone though @Stones8000, have you even understood my point? There's a whole unused building in TruckersMP HQ that could be turned in a car dealership, you know.. For realism purposes. Same goes for you @CrazyCTRL. Not everything should be about convenience. But @FourP. has a good point, it shouldn't be prioritized as it would consume time for other more important projects. Such an idea that slipped through my mind and thought I would share..

Suggestion Name: Car dealership
Suggestion Description: If possible, there should be added a dedicated dealership just for cars (named Scout cars, for example). The car dealership could be placed in the TruckersMP headquarters!
Expanded suggestion (optional suggestion): The possibility of buying former alternating vehicles is available, making the roads more diverse (but if added, the 'alternating vehicle' of the month will have less effect/use - I am aware of that, so that's why I added an 'optional suggestion' line in this template).
Why it should be added: More overview and diversity/ensuring of simulation

Cars ensure the diversity of road users, just like in real life you can encounter bad drivers. Just a risk of the career!
Besides, removing the cars won't remove the drivers.. Trollers gonna troll, regardless of what vehicles they use.
My suggestion would be making the car only available for serious members (such as Patrons or Veteran Drivers) who have proved themselves worthy, but TruckersMP doesn't want to become a pay2use software, and I respect that.

No one expected mirror cams to be released so soon, so anything is possible for that matter... Plus, game developers try to be as up to date as possible - especially if they're responsible for patching/updating simulators..

I love the tropical vibe of Palermo, Italy!
My heaquarters are in Bergen, Norway which is iconic as well due to the scenic routes that it has to offer by the mountain passes, and the scenery of typical Nordic painted houses

ETS2: Extreme Trucking add-on, to add off-road maps and cities/rural areas that are challenging to drive (such as the rework of Paris in general, or Italian coastal cities with tight alleyways and narrow mountain roads; main example is Amalfi Coast)
We desperately need a challenge!! C-D road and Kirkenes road (the latter being ProMods) proves that, those being the most visited spots of the whole server...

It surprised me no one asked this before, as it got to be the most common question on forums:
What is your favorite song?
Doesn't have to be specific, could be your all-time favorite song you just can't forget or just a song you prefer to listen to currently and keep getting back to (but could be forgotten within a month, theoretically speaking)
I'll start:
A song I often come back to is this Old School banger, especially after I've learned about the history:
Old School and the early days of Hip Hop (Disco Rap)
There is something about flows that are not getting overly narcissistic or violent...
Especially when the sample hits hard (fun fact: this song was actually (co-)remixed for both Nu Shooz and Spyder D, by DJ Peter Slaghuis from the Netherlands; even though Eric Matthews was the only one mentioned on the LP label)

C-D road got busy, even in the early days of TruckersMP (ETS2MP back then) because it's the most central located road of the map, connecting the mainland of Europe (SCS started Europe with just Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary and U.K) with England... Back when there were also traffic jams at Europoort (Rotterdam) because cargos to the U.K were the best paid jobs. Only veteran drivers will remember.
The road got the reputation of 'death road' because of the chaos it occured (LOTS of traffic jams and trolls), and since everyone is in for a challenge (because let's face it: there's not much of a challenge around the main (base) maps of Europe, making driving a rather tedious experience for some) they would like to take on the challenge themselves. I mean, the most used road in ProMods is also a challenging road (Kirkenes mine trail). I hope that we will have some more challenging experiences in the future DLCs of SCS Software, because we're in for a challenge! I hope it'll be comparable with SCS earlier release of '18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker'..
My suggestion would be either an off-road challenge, or a tight spot challenge (such as Paris in real life)...

EDIT: I forgot the most important of all for all truck lovers out there: Duel (1971), the first movie Steven Spielberg ever directed starring; you guessed it, a truck!! Not sure where you can watch it... The worst movie I ever watched was some French dance movie named 'Climax', where a pregnant girl was st4bb3d by jealous hating people around her, where the scene would last on for 5 minutes straight...

False and true:False because I have 1,028 hours ingame with 645 contracts completed in World of Trucks, with an average of 780 km per distance (502,915 km in total)
True because I'm a noob driving the bus, hence my L in my gamer tag on the servers (still getting the hang of it lol)

Most likely because you went to desktop and thus pressed the CTRL key (CTRL + esc). I do this everytime and note the same problem, but as stated above me pressing CTRL helps to fix that bug for me too.

@lxl Semper lxl I think you misunderstood me there at some point, because I never stated that admins are abusing their authority nor claimed I that I don't appreciate the work the admins perform to keep the traffic flow going. I stated that they can't keep an eye out on the road because of the fact that would take too much effort, leaving other urgent tasks out such as keeping an eye out on the trolls. I think the admins do a great job, especially at the time you need them the most as I've experienced an 'instant justice' twice by now when a road rager was ramming me because of my speed limit due to my world of truck contracts and caught in the act by an admin (instant ban/kick). I never complained about the admins nor disrespect I their authority.. And what @Converse means, is that it's up to drivers themselves to keep the safety in own hands (and their choice to drive an alternative route when necesarry). Please don't accuse us of things we never stated, and read the whole comment before debating any of my statements.

You can't solve the traffic problem by blocking off main roads. The only alternative to Calais other than the C-D road is via the Brussels road, leaving ALL traffic coming over another road (either way the highway or another one-laned road). You should remember how the high population in that area is caused: a main entrance point with only one lane (leaving small capacity for the traffic flow) because it is a main junction. The autobahn near Rotterdam is already crowded due to the junction, but that can handle a traffic flow better than a two or one laned highway/road.
Besides, by blocking off roads the admins leave less time for actual urgent matters such as keeping an eye out on trolls, rammers and blockers (as they need to keep an eye out on the C-D road itself if no one is entering it).. This task will ask too much priority, because of what I remember when that road was closed is that most of the admins (if not all) were there.. And the admins can't be forced upon the game.

There are many truckers hit by them.
Useless traffic creates a lot of inconvenience.It's not really the cars that are causing that, it are the one driving the cars.. Shouldn't make a difference between a truck or car, as people expect you as job driver (trucker) to apply to any traffic situation, even if it's only ingame. The trolls should be punished, not the purpose of a car..
