Well it seems i have found a common issue with someone else, but a moderator quickly closed my topic (posted 27th March) linking me to articles that i went through already before but did not solve my issue. I'm not daft to post topics without searching the forums and trying solutions suggested!!!! To Mariio, the one who closed my topic Explain why this bug occurs in the first place and why all fixes suggested are only temporary but every log on is the same, no jobs!!

Mod Version: 0.1.4 R3 Controllers Used: PS3 Dualshock 3 Description of Issue:Ever since I downloaded Russian Paintjob DLC, I noticed that every time I logged on mp I had no available jobs. F7+Enter was/is the quick fix. Anyone else got a similar problem ever since buying the DLC? I have verified the integrity of game cache. Yes I know the paintjob is not supported yet. How to reproduce: I don't know. Screenshots / Videos: Not necessary. Self explanatory.

Mod Version: 0.1.4 R3 Controllers Used: PS3 Dualshock 3 Description of Issue: First let me say this is just a visual bug and does not impact gameplay. When the person raises their wheel, the front wheel goes up too. This makes the steering animation non-existent. How to reproduce: Ask your friend to "Raise your wheels" you can see both his front wheel and the raised wheel goes up. LOL. Use developer cam to get a close up view. Then ask him to drive around. Screenshots / Videos: None. Reproduce please.

Well, now you know & understand that the right-click has been assigned a function by the developers that is causing conflict with your current settings. StuartD post helps too:

Seems like the obvious fix would be to reassign a new button for the functions you need and avoid right-click button. But for now, there's nothing you can do when the MP developers assign a key that overwrites the one we have set. Take F9 for example (you know the use in developer mode) now it is used to hide/show info (chats + players name.) So for now there's nothing we can do but maybe in the future we could engage the developers on button mapping. But i don't think this would happen as they make the final decision. No votes/popular poll can/would change their development plans. By the way, this argument holds water for those who use mouse steering and have mouse buttons assigned to crucial functions, e.g. braking or accelerating.

As a last resort you could do a fresh install of ETS 2 on steam and the multiplayer client (re-download them), as long as you have the bandwith available. Otherwise i have nothing more to offer. Good Luck.

Hmm. I am baffled. Are you sure you have MP ver 0.1.3 R2

Now that you have opted out of all betas on steam, Un-install the ETS 2 multiplayer client. Restart your PC, and re-install ETS2 MP.

Yes. No betas should be active because the latest ETS 2 MP client relies on ver. 1.15.1.1s to work.

Looks like you are on beta. I suggest you opt out of all betas on properties in steam.

I presume the crash happens mostly around "populated" towns. So i suggest you move quickly through town, or you might crash multiple times!

Yes, the Moderators know this issue among many others encountered in 0.1.3 R2. Patience is key, plus before posting, it is better to search if the problem is reported before in previous posts to reduce multiple posts of the same problem. Cheers,

Lack of DLCs is not a problem. The game just reports errors for the purpose of data logging but ignores them, thus gameplay is not interrupted. I have all DLCs but i still crash anyway. Same issue here. hope they solve it ASAP.

Nothing wrong there. Just quick travel to other locations for different jobs if the ones you find are not appealing. Perhaps a moderator might explain why they set it that way. I think its something to do with servers and synchronization for all players and game time (days and nights are longer, i hope you noticed)

I have not yet downloaded the christmas DLC, but my game crashing started today. Im in Amsterdam and I cant even load the game! Crashes instantly! I have tried to load it up several times, same result. It seems the problem is wide spread, virtue of the fact of all game crashing reports today. Hope the mods and admins can do something about it and explain what is going on.
