  1. There is also one thing that is not very related to this forum topic, but this month ets2 1.47 "should" be officially released, which includes after several versions, the "Adaptive Cruise Control & Emergency Braking System", i think this also may affect the number of accidents in the future, especially on TMP if work and is supported, but it is just an expectation
  2. With the new changes, on the Simulation 2 server

    Music ?

I also listen to the same music, i would also add rap and hip hop to my collection
  4. Renault T, around 170'000 km
  5. Simulation has never gone away, i don't see where you see the lack of simulation, just speed limit? for that you can limit yourself, you don't need TMP forcing everyone to go 90. MMOs have pros and cons, popular areas will always be there, if there was no CD and areas near that road, there would be something else, The emptiness in the roads outside the popular zones, you find them in all the servers, it's not a new thing that came with these changes. Ironically lowering the speed limit would increase the emptiness outside the roads and popular areas even more, Full simulation is something you can do yourself, you don't need TMP forcing all players the settings you want, it's not freedom of choice this, By limiting everyone to 90, you would cut out almost 80% of what the community wants, which is to go over 110 with the simulation configuration, so it would be a perfect way to kill the server, (past teach that) From a previous answer: "It is expected to happen given the results, but it is hard to say when, could be the next week or in 2 months; the number of players between 2 servers will always have the preference over the server settings, in this case, speed limit" Those who didn't participate in the survey, should have; those who really cared did, they spent 5 minutes to give their opinion; those who didn't care enough didn't. If one wants changes has to get involved, As you do in market research, it is not practical to go and ask everybody what they think about a subject or multiple subjects, the survey is a much more practical and reliable way to get lots of opinions, it's used by everyone, businesses, communities etc... If you know of a faster way than this to get opinions, propose it, but from work experience you are unlikely to find other methods more effective, If there were no surveys you would have to do an interview with every player, to gather the same number of opinions from this survey, would take months if not years... As I have written before, lowering the speed limit to 90 would increase the emptiness off the roads and popular areas even more; it is an argument that doesn't stand up, You don't have the real players but you have the AI, so what? you always find the AI and sometimes even worse than real players; real players, the way you play, you find them more rarely, and you rarely meet reckless players for a simple statistical factor, unless you go to the areas where you have more probability of meeting reckless players, if you do something you don't want to, and you know the probability increase of you to encounter what you don't want, it's your fault. In fact cd and surrounding are in your avoid list, but you went there to come here and complain, isn't that a bit hypocritical? "Finally, remember one thing: "hardcore" players are the ones respecting the rules." - in your head it is not possible that there are players going faster than 90 and 110 respecting the rules is it?
  6. It is expected to happen given the results, but it is hard to say when, could be the next week or in 2 months; the number of players between 2 servers will always have the preference over the server settings, in this case, speed limit You are allowed to drive wherever you want, only in some parts you are more likely to encounter reckless players because there is a higher concentration of players, it's simple math. I don't see where the prohibitions to drive there are, those are only in your head, "some whining idiots who can't follow the rules are not happy with their bans" - Have you seen the survey results related to game moderation satisfaction? "only 51% are satisfied with rule enforcement, and 49% are satisfied with the quality of our game moderation team", explain this With the "back to basics" program, the TruckersMP team has clearly demonstrated their unwillingness to continue their support of the simulation aspects of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, as well as the minority of their community's striving for realistic simulation. - don't forget that sim 1 still exists and it's not gone "It has been argued that any player can play the way he or she prefers, and anyone who doesn't feel safe playing on a server with an increased speed limit of 150 km/h should play on one of the other servers. Of course, any logical examination of such a suggestion dictates that it is nothing more than a pitiful attempt to shut down and get rid of disagreeable opinions and players, strictly according to the motto "out of sight, out of mind". - I don't know what kind of logical examination you've done, but you've left out logic from the examination, you don't want to go 150 and you don't want to drive on CDs and populated areas, what's the point of complaining about something that doesn't even touch you? "With the "back to basics" program, the TruckersMP team has clearly demonstrated their unwillingness to continue their support of the simulation aspects of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, as well as the minority of their community's striving for realistic simulation." - decision based on the results from the community, don't blame TMP, but you should blame the majority of the community for what they want, which is not what you want, give yourself peace of mind "The Truckers MP has resigned to the whining of their racing drivers and increased the speed limit. But you are still entitled to drive at a speed that is safe for you and others, especially in highly populated areas!" - I can say that even probably TMP resigned to the logic-free complaints from "hardcore" players and the lowering of speed limit; i don't think you're in a better position, and the decision comes based on the community wants, i think you are again blaming the wrong part
  7. You are right, it has been said complete, but there is not only one road or area, in fact your story implies that the roads of turtles and cheetahs must necessarily meet, when it is not so in reality; if you want to drive where you encounter most people do it, but you can't expect to force others to go the way you want them to go You don't need to show to all, it's known. Don't drive there if it causes you problems or frustration to you, problem solved very quickly; this proves that you went there just to come here to complain and get some attention. You don't like it? good and you don't drive there; others like it, good and they drive there, what's the problem? none, just yours, "Those" collisions also prove that they are the minority compared to the number of players you encountered, i don't know what point you're trying to make
  8. In addition to what @StateCA [NL] said, We don't have the same educational level? how do you know what ours is, that we don't even know each other? Are you god? Or maybe you didn't explain yourself well first? Always other people's fault right? if it makes you feel better, as you wish.... In fact that wall of text was missing on your previous answer, but is our foult that we didn't understand what you mean, ironic, I always see you take up the topic of reports, since when is it your problem? does it affect the speed in which you drive or how you drive? answer: no. I was left that only the moderators deal with that, I appreciate the effort, but why should turtles ask cheetahs to go slower when you never meet them on the road since you avoid areas where you know there might be cheetahs? It's like saying, me, that i live in italy ask those in France or any other country to go slower, because i think they should go slower based on my ideology, it doesn't make sense, Let everyone be free to drive as fast as they wish, you go 90, let others go as fast as they wish
  9. You should edit this message to: "I tried going on cd and nearby areas for 10 minutes in ets2 server", same things you would have found in sim1 server with 110 limit, why you didn't you try to go on sim 1 on the same road/areas to see what you will find? you know, but yours, is a pathetic attemp trying to find a reason to blame the changes, the ets2 server and the speed limit, when the same things happen on sim1 with lower speed limit... In this response you wrote that cd was on your avoid list and in other responses you strongly defended the simulative experience, but it just so happens that you went there to drive knowing full well what you will find, but you went there anyway to come here to complain, why? for some attention? why go there in the first place? it doesn't make sense... In order to have some attention and reasons to complain, you went against your ideologies In the clips you shared, looking closer, in about 20 players you encountered, maximum 2/3 caused a problem and another couple was on the side road afk, nothing happened to you directly as you were driving as you should be, so this also shows that the majority who drive on cd, drives without causing collisions/problems to others, again for you there is no point in complaining, because nothing happened to you, It's fun to read you anyway, when reasons and arguments are lacking, the nosense begins
  10. You are right! i missed it completly I closed the clip as soon as i saw where he was driving But yeah, i'm with you, a big chill pill is need it
  11. In fact, you had to go to the popular areas or nearby zones, no one forced you to drive there and you knew what you were going to find, this proves my points, keep going on with the campaign
  12. In fact, the first sentence you were asking for clarification and they reply that you don't understand anything after not explaining what you asked them, this shows the level of reasoning with these people.... Separated from this post and answer, What "this" players are doing is a losing battle, what they wanted was done many years ago and failed, and just when TMP was much more played than now, so they still have more evidence of what the majority of people really wanted, plus they have the recent survey results; what has changed in all these years in what the majority of players wanted? nothing. To play the way they want they don't need TMP to force the speed limit to 90 on all players, they can very well do it themselves, plus different types of players can coexist on the same server since they do not drive in the same areas, They complain as if they drive in populated areas, c-d and surroundings every day, that makes the point of these complaints... it is more of a campaign than anything else...
  13. I mean, it's not funny, it's very sad. You blaming others but you are doing the exact same. In this answer you wrote that you stopped using tmp in 2019, then you uninstalled TMP, and you threatened to delete the account with the excuse that you don't do it because you are lazy (it literally takes 3 seconds); knowing that what you want will never come true, why are you still here? I mean, a normal person would have no reasons to stay if that is the situation or what they think after 4 years Also what you shared is the evidence that no need for words (almost 80% wanted a speed over 110), everyone had a chance to cast their vote, no need for conspiracy theories
  14. After reading various responses I didn't think we would reach manipulation/conspiracy theories/corruption, at this rate in a while it will be the government's fault ; just accept that others do not want what you guys want, move on, simple, and health will thanks aswell, These reactions are expected, especially because they come from the same people who were sure that nothing would change in terms of speed limits/servers or they were in favour for a lower speed limit/more simulation configuration; and when the certainties fall, either you see who people really are, or, you get the best reactions from people, Solutions that unhappy people can adopt? stay on sim 1 server since nothing changed like many said, or, go do something else; the results speak for themselves; the complaints are just because some users didn't get what they wanted, is like when childrens don't get what they want, they throw tantrums
  15. also, what is really important is the number of unique players, which is much lower than the number of registered accounts; the number of registered accounts is not relevant
  16. That's right, that's exactly why it was decided to make another poll based on those results (as Jeronimo told, it was the basis for this survey), and as you can now see, like everyone else, it was very general, doesn't say much about what exactly players want or would like. I don't know how polls have been in the past on these topics, i can only rely on the most recent ones, As you can see from the direction of the results, whatever happens in the future, it would not change or it would not change much in the server settings, because however the majority prefer the simulation game setting/mode (rules + active collision, current sim 1 server settings) rather than the arcade one; you also have to see what comes out of this survey, I don't remember who said it because i read it fast between the many comments, but someone was talking about the community split that TMP made. From my point of view and from what I've seen/read from blogs, it refers to game modes and not to the community, game modes mean server settings, nothing more. In fact, community (arcade/sim/casual etc...)can play on both servers, the "split" mentioned by some user it's simply what server settings players choose, not TMP dividing the community. But is only my opinion, not talking for TMP because i'm not in the staff
  17. @FernandoCR [ESP] @Foobrother They’re not relevant, because those numbers don’t prove anything about what the other user said. You can find out by simply reading that blog and his last answers. In addition to the numbers in quantity, nothing is explained about the problems and reasons of why those numbers, or how things go in the staff; apart from the pandemic that brought more traffic. I don’t even see the reckless drivers in that post, whether they have increased or not, or numbers that prove it. In addition, almost 2 years have passed since those numbers, and overall the number of players has dropped after the pandemic’s restrictions were slowly coming to an end; plus the convoy mode that came out in the summer of 2021. The first 6/7 months of 2021 (the year to which the data refer) have greatly influenced the data released; the trend has stabilized from September 2021 onwards: Until we have a more updated data on the trend that has stabilized from September 21 onwards, and remained so in 2022, they worth what they worth; this data/numbers can be taken to make examples, but nothing more I appreciate the effort anyway, i hope for something more
  18. You said several times wrong, people already share they view, an example is this post and comments or on other many comunications ways that TMP have. All you listed can be done also via surveys, like it's happening and happened in the past, so you keep talking no sense. I'm curious to see how long you gonna continue on this path. You can share your opinions/suggestions without the need of assuming, it's easy, just learn to do it. This is funny, until now you have done the exact opposite, where is my evidence from the last answer? There is freedom of speech, indeed people are sharing the opinions and toughts also under this post, what's the point? You can find the informations you are looking for on your own, all available if you are looking for them; indeed most of your comments are based on not many informations and you still discussed your options, you trolling right? But if you believe something, that TMP never said or announced, that is your problem, not TMP foult.
  19. You don't know what will be in the next survey, how you know there will not be the questions to your concerns? Again we assume? Nothing more false, you don't have to make assumptions to find solutions/suggestions. Again, you don't know whether these results will be published or not, how much do you want to continue? Don't play the victim, it's the truth. I don't see any insults. I am waiting for your evidences. You stop because you don't have the answers
  20. If you only listen to those who assume, you will always end up assuming. It doesn't mean anything, it's just information. It is not TMP's fault if you assume/think/believe different things. Just wait the end of this survey and official announcements. The rest doesn't matter.
