[Problem with the launcher after todays update of it.]

Hey SPACESHARK,

 

it might help starting the launcher as administrator. Last thing I can think of would be hitting F1 or F6 after starting your launcher. 

Either one forces the launcher to download the data required to play - again. 

 

Edit: According to messages on Discord this seems to be a known issue.

So you gotta be patient and wait for the devs to fix that problem.

 

We are aware of the error message "Connection refused. You are using an invalid client". Please be patient, Developers have been informed and working hard to fix it as soon as possible.

Unfortunately there is no eta when this problem will be fixed ~ recklessly copied from Coolio

You can drive with doubles anywhere outside the red area, you just won't be able to pick a cargo job outside of scandinavia tho.

That's correct. But since it starts in the middle of it, it's pretty much useless driving onto that road as you'll be getting kicked by driving further. Furthermore, people who don't know this might join the DC/CD road and will be surprised of why they got kicked.

So it has been red marked.

Hello di9girl.

The reason why it's not working is pretty simple. Visit your ETS2 (ATS) properties and choose: NONE - Opt out of all beta programs.

You have to choose the same for ATS, too. Then it will be working.

Es wird der Zeitpunkt kommen wo von Serverseite aus der Wintermod wieder rausgenommen wird. Selber machen kannst du, musst du aber nicht.

Das obliegt ganz dir. Nimm ihn dann raus wenn er dir nicht (mehr) gefällt, du keine Lust mehr auf ihn hast, etc. ...

 

Ich persönlich lass den/die/das Mod solange aktiv, wie er verfügbar ist. Zu den etwa 9 Monaten ständigem Grün bleibt's mal drei Monate (kalendarisch betrachtet) einfach mal weiß ^^

Ich hab's ausprobiert und dann lief es tatsächlich. Ich bin aber vorsichtig und sage, dass es derzeit läuft. Wer weiß ob's in mehreren Tagen immer noch läuft.

Als Lösung steht in dem Thema:

Lösung: die Reaktionszeit der Grafikkarte erhöhen

Anleitung:

öffnet die Registry (Windows Taste + R -> "regedit" -> OK)

zu folgendem Pfad gehen: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers" 

an dieser Stelle das folgende neue Objekt erstellen (rechte Maustaste)
"DWORD (32-bit)" -> benenne es "TdrDelay" -> weise ihm den Wert "10" (DEZIMAL) zu

schließt die Registry 

startet euren PC neu

 

 

Zu beachten:

Der Autor von dem Thema hat auch ein paar andere Lösungsvorschläge in den Kommentaren geschrieben! Kannst du dir ja auch durchlesen! Bei manchen hat es funktioniert, bei anderen aber nicht!

[ATS chrashes / won't work]

Hello folks,

 

Recently I got some problems with my ATS. If I leave the main menu in Singleplayer, the screen gets and stays black as long as I kill it with Task Manager. I tried a new profile and there I got the same problems. 

 

Here's what I already did:

checked integrity of game files - told me everything's fine → failed

reinstalled the game and new profile - failed

ran it /w admin permissions - failed

ran it /w OpenGL and DirectX - failed

 

The multiplayer doesn't even start. After clicking on "Launch ATS" it's crashing instantly. Nothing I can / could do there.

So I got some nice reading material to those who are interested into my problem:

Wenn ich auf Laden klicke lädt das Spiel ohne Probleme. Die Stromversorgung ist auf ausbalanciert gestellt (Tower pc). Der Monitor sebst macht keinerlei Probleme. 

 

Auf 1.28 downgraden bringt nichts da mein Profil mit seinen Speicherständen bereits auf 1.29 umgeschrieben ist.
