This could be something as simple as a bug - it could be resolved in a few hours
If you want, you can try some of these?
- Run the steam client as administrator
- Uninstall and reinstall the TMP
- Maybe try changing your Steam password and maybe your TMP password and try to login again

You can't really see it in game - it's all virtual. So to make it like a real company you would have to either do these;
- Have matching paintjobs
- Create an in-game tag that your VTC members will use
- Whilst using these - you can truck together with synced jobs (a guide on that is below)

C-D is always fun to drive down (if sometimes you don't mind the odd trailer damage) sometimes I play on EU1 while going down there because players on that server carefully drive and abide by road rules!

This is 100% a false positive. Many users are using the TMP client without any issues or warnings - just depends on your AV

As others have said, the main issue is working out when the ghost mode would end. If it's consistent lag, theoretically it wouldn't end.. right?
+1 with this. It would be hard to determine when the lag ends. It could be persistent which then means you could forever be in ghost mode.

As of right now you cannot use the Special Transport DLC on any MP servers.

Hello and welcome to the forums!
Have you tried to reinstall the launcher itself and if you did make sure to run it as administrator
You can also try to clear your temp files on your PC - below is how;
