You mean 7+ day ban? You don't get kicks for accidents. You get banned. Are people that daft? Is anyone playing the same game I am?
All you guys come out of the woodwork to respond to a pointless idea, when there is actual stuff that needs addressing, not whatever kind of joke this is. God help us all
there is a difference between a kick and simply a teleport to service, if someone is flipped over and blocking the road, myself just help them to the service area.
not everything you say is true. also commenting like that to others is not that nice, of course constructive comments are welcome.
anyway like i said it could be helpful for certain situations
-
Well perhaps it will be helpful even for player who have accident and blocking the road and just needed that little help to the service area.
So that the flow can continue. furthermore it depends on the situation of the blocking.

I believe the answer you look for you can find here.
There is a lot that can help new players to understand the game, and for the game SCS already have training tool available on how to maneuver a truck.
And of course accidents can still happen, like in real life.

Sorry to say this but a player who is banned doesn't deserve that privilege to attend a event. the rules are here for a reason.

with custom interior it would not be possible, but perhaps the standard interior it would be possible.
imo the interior we use for alternative vehicles.
also not sure on how it works with deliveries with these kind of vans
-
To be honest if branded trucks would be added is up too SCS to do that.
And with mods if they are outdated it could easily cause issues with the game.

hmmm i see your point well if the light is green and you cant go stay put thats what i do if i cant clear the junction just like i do irl
you cannot compare irl to this that is so different, imo for you and me is common sense to stop, most of these players have almost no idea what they doing.
so to putting a box there with a kick sensor will not help, they will simply spawn back or load save game and continue where they were doing.

What does it mean if they lower the requirements ? you said the more the better but quantity is not better then quality.
So to ensure the people who apply have the skills for it there should be no change in that too ensure the right people on the right place will be hired.
This is not having a red name is cool and fun there is more responsibility too it, is also spending a lot time doing the daily tasks that you don't see that we do in the background.
Also there was a previous recruitment and already staff is joining as we speak.

While i do like the road markings, i don't know if the players gonna accept it and follow it, even now they don't follow the road markings at it is, even ignoring traffic lights in rare cases.
-
I'm more in favor having a second exit to the left instead of right, because the majority of the players going left towards Calais indeed.

@Sunstrider the only solution would be to turn it into a single lane road from Calais all the way until the point where players going left for C-D road, so that player cannot overtake anymore and cut off each other at that intersection.
But yeah we don't know what plan SCS have to rebuild that area yet.

-
While it might help with this intersection it will create more issues at the previous intersection as the queue that will made will defiantly exceed over the previously intersection. and not to mention the players at the previous intersection will change lanes to go left as there were in the right lane.
at least now the traffic runs somewhat smooth if you gonna limited it I'm afraid it will backfire it, the traffic flow is just to high to limit it like this.

To streamline the overall design of the panel, we have disabled the date/time functionality. Since this information is available on most devices, we simply felt that offering it was redundant and didn’t justify the resources required to keep it maintained.
how much resources was required to keep this running ? it was surely helpful and not just for reports, but for plenty other things as well.
other then that the new panel looks very nice, is just the minor thing is missing now.

This is TMP, real world the rules or physics do not apply.
People're joining highways usually at Mach 1, cut all the lanes straight away and hit the guard rail on the opposite side.
What you should do is not move over to the left, but slow down adn let them do their thing in front of you, where you can see and avoid them.
to be honest is common sense if someone wanna join the highway you should move over too left lane too allow them to merge in safely.
That is wat is do here in my country when i see someone join the highway in real life, so i do it also in the game if there is room i just switch lanes.

Thank you for your detailed feedback! I understand the distinction between the roles of report moderators and game moderators, and the concerns about separation of responsibilities. My goal is not to blur the lines between these roles or to allow report moderators to have access to tools such as in-game bans or kicks.
The main goal of my suggestion is simply to ensure that reports are handled more quickly and efficiently, regardless of their origin, while respecting each other's roles.
This approach would ensure that reports are handled without giving all the power to report moderators or merging their roles with those of GMs. The goal is primarily to ensure that reports are handled in a timely manner, while maintaining the current structure of responsibilities.
Thanks for your feedback, I understand the points raised. It is true that report moderators may be in training to become game moderators, and that managing real-time reports is a core skill for that role. My intention is not to rush this transition process, but rather to find ways to improve reporting while respecting current skills and roles.
I propose that some report moderators, who are prepared to handle real-time reports, could step in without necessarily having access to all the features of a game moderator.
The idea here is not to create a new category of moderator, but to expand the skills of report moderators so that they can contribute more, while remaining in their current roles. This would allow reports to be handled more efficiently, while maintaining the clear distinction between report and game moderators.
It does not make sense to give report moderators extra tasks, as their primary goal is too focus on the web reports and not to mention the extra time they will need to spend on adding evidence and more appeals to be doing. if they the skill and proven worthy the can be promoted to game moderator and then they can help in-game already.
While in your eyes might be a good idea you have no idea on what the impact may be if we allow this. there is good reason on why we have different teams for different tasks.

Speedbumps will not Work, in Fact, they are inviting much more People to do Reckless Driving. Cause there is the possibility to Jump over them, when they come at Fullspeed down the Ramp! The Only Thing that would prevent Reckless Driving Trolls from doing the Speeding on the Gas Station is a change of the Layout of the Gas Station. As example, no direct road that lead to the Fuelpumps from the Exit Ramp. Just make a Hard Turn to the Right, at the End of the Exit, than lead the Road into an Round About, where are 3 Exits! 1 To the Parking Area, 1 to the Fuelpumps and 1 back to to Highway/Main Road!
We had them actually before at old Duisburg fuel station, and the most of the players where actually driving slowly over these bumps, of course there is always some players who rush over these as we cannot stop them all. but is at least a effort in reducing the chaos there.
you cannot collect safely fuel because now there is some players who drive through the fuel station with 110km/h , and if they exit the fuel station and there is traffic on the road mostly they overtake at right side and at merging point they force themself into the main lane and cause a accidents or drive over the grass and overtake illegally.
i mean they have no patience whatsoever.
The layout is fine on how it is but it's now to easy to access and exit it.

Suggestion Name: speedbumps at fuel station
Suggestion Description: disallow to go with highspeed through the fuel station
Any example images: nvt
Why should it be added?: players use the fuel station as secondary road to bypass the players who drive over the main road, and merge back onto the main road without giving way and causing issues and accidents.
by adding speed bumps (at entry and exit should be placed) the speed will be much lower so they lose the advantages and stick to the main road.
i believe this will be a win/win for the players and for the moderation team.

2 weeks for 4 phases seems little short, i don't mind if these events where like 4 weeks imo.
some have to work and cannot experience all the phases on a 2 week event, nevertheless it will be a cool event in a new location on the map.
-
there is one downside to this, players will just delete there account and create new account to be able to play again on sim1. (if they are not banned, but just lost there safety rating)
if we somehow can stop that with a cooldown feature that players cannot make a new account directly, it would be interesting this safety rating.

SCS will eventually rebuild it, if you look on how Germany is now.
I don't think the team will spend time on this if there is plans for the future by SCS

This would be simply impossible to add because you forget a minor detail that is the demo which is stored temporary on the server, currently there is not enough storage to keep the reports open for 7 days
and with the income of reports it will be 1000ths and it will eventually overrun the server. it would be to costly to keep this running and in the end it will be total waist of the recourses.
hence why we have 2 options to report in-game which is stored temporary or website which is stored for much longer.

Additional Truck and Trailer Signs (Speed, Angles Mortes & Euro) - Add-On Team Suggestion
in New
Posted
This would be a suggestion for SCS and not for TruckersMP, so that SCS can add it in the basegame.
But i would love to see those realistic signs on the back of the trailer.
