Beta 1.38 Gone from betas section in ETS 2 Properties

Hello guys,

Yesterday steam updated my game like a pesky fool of  an application it is. When I tried to downgrade, I could not find beta 1.38, only 1.39.

Can anyone give me a hand with this, would be very appreciated.

thanks for sharing your problem,

If you are trying to enter the multiplayer mode, you must select the option [EXIT ALL BETA PROGRAMS], with this you can access to play in multiplayer mode without any problem.

Doesn't seem to have done anything, mate. I think that was disabled before. I'm still not able to find Beta 1.38.

Currently the beta version 1.38 is no longer available, remember that every time the game changes version [in this case it is already in 1.39] the previous betas are no longer available.

Beta version = temporary test version, for testing new content with focus on eliminating of any bugs, currently this is 1.39 version.

Version 1.38 is current live version of the game, there is no 1.38 beta version - opt ouf of all beta programs to update to 1.38.

I just tried the official version, this is what I got:

 

Only beta 1.38 used to work. I don't understand what you're trying to tell me.

As far as I understand, selecting 'NONE - opt out of all beta programs' doesn't help solve your problem, therefore I recommend you to try the following:

 

Step 1:
1. Open Steam, go to the LIBRARY -> GAMES
2. Right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 and open Properties
3. After the Properties window has opened click LOCAL FILES tab and press BROWSE LOCAL FILES
4. A folder with game files opens. Remember the path to this folder

 

Step 2:
1. Click Start -> Run (or WIN+R)
2. Type regedit and hit enter
3. Follow the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TruckersMP
4. Look at the value parameter "InstallLocationETS2"?

 

Step 3:
1. Copy the folder address from STEP 1
2. Change the value parameter "InstallLocationETS2" (Insert the copied folder address)
3. Click OK.

 

Then test to see whether it works or not
