I got the game about 2-3 years ago. A friend suggested it to me and the ratings seemed good, so I decided to buy it. A few days later, I found out about TruckersMP and loved it, which shows why I still play it to this day.

I bought the game & was told about the mp & joined found some peopl,e to get into it & then since then its just expanded into the most amazing community to be apart of 5 years later

Got shunned by my friends a few months after ATS came out (a separate issue). Did some research and found out that they finally had a multiplayer option! 

 

Heck also gained some friends, who I plan on meeting in person soon, once things go back to normal

 

Been a long time SCS fan, since the 18 WOS days.

Great posts!  I got into ETS1 and 2 because I had friends that drove trucks and always told me to get out of my previous jobs and start driving.  So i played ETS 1 and 2 for a while and liked it, and always liked driving.  Decided to go to school to start driving a truck and have loved it ever since, although I'm not home much its not a big deal for me. 

 

Used ETS to practice my backing mostly, and is surprisingly realistic and I've been playing ever since with some breaktime of course.  Love MP because I can drive realistically and see others wipe out in the meantime, (and this is basically how it works while im working too haha)
