Mouse doesn't move after launching ETS2 with TruckersMP

Hello,

 

After launching ETS2 with Truckersmp my mouse stops moving/the game freezes in the login-screen.

I've already reinstalled ETS and TruckersMP, it didn't solve the problem.

Hi! I have searched for this issue and found some things to solve this problem. 

One player said : My problem has solved.  I Just restarted my computer (So first try this solution.)

 

And look this Link  (I don't wanna say anything about this because I don't know anything about this.)

Well, restarting didn't help haha

 

I've already deleted the controls file, as well as the config.cfg file, also didn't help.

 

What I found out, though, was, that my game also freezes in singleplayer, after I start driving, but only on DirectX. I've tested it on OpenGL and it runs smoothly, with much less fps tho

Follow these steps:

For mouse doesn't work

Solution 1:

Delete the following files:

Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/config.cfg

Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/profiles/<profilehexcode>/config.cfg

Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/profiles/<profilehexcode>/controls.sii

Then try again.

 

The profile hexcode differs for each profile.

The correct profile folder is usually the folder that has been recently changed.

It will work again

 

Solution 2:

Have you tried verify your steam game ?

> Go to Steam Library

> Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2

> Properties

> Local Files

> Verify Integrity of Game Files

Wait until the game files are verified and try whether the error still occurs.

 

Solution 3:

Have you tried reinstalling TruckersMP and then login again ?

Follow this

1) Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
2) Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
3) Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
4) Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
5) Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/
6) Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

For game freezing

Try these:

> Update your graphic card driver.

> Take care not to play in busy areas.

> Pull down your graphics settings.

> You maybe need a new profile,delete old and get a new one.

> Reinstall the mod and make sure that you put correct in directory. (\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2)

> Don't use unsupported mods.Also too many mods can cause your game to crash.You can find supported and allowed mod from here.

Hello, Would you try these solutions?

 

Solution 1:

• Go to your Steam Library.
• Click on your ETS2 game and play.
• Select "Launch with OpenGL 64bit".
• Drive a short distance and exit your game.
• Open TruckersMP in adminstrator mode then login in ETS2:MP

Solution 2:

• My Documents > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > In this directory, "config.cfg" delete configuration.

Solution 3:

• Steam > Library > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Right Click > Properties > Local Files > "Verify the integrity of the game files" click.

Solution 4:

• My Documents > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > profiles > your profile > controls.sii open the file with notepad;
• Look for the line "config_lines[1]: "device mouse `fusion.mouse`" change to "config_lines[1]: "device mouse `di8.mouse`" and save the file.
• Restart the computer and run the TruckersMP Launcher as administrator.

Solution 5:

If Solution 1 did not work, start the game as DirectX. For this follow this Solution 5:

• My Documents > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > config.cfg open the file with notepad
• uset r_device "gl" change to > uset r_device "dx9" and save the file.

• Open TruckersMP in administrator mode.

If this problem occurs only multiplayer, please re-install the launcher.
