Launcher not loading.

When I double click the launcher to load it, it comes up with this error message.

 

An error occured while contacting our update servers

(System.UnauthroizedAccessExeception: Access to the path C:\ProgramData]TruckersMP\core_ets2mp.dll is denied.

I don't understand any of that.

 

The game works fine in SP mode. I have ran the MP launcher through admin as well with same error message. I have downloaded the latest launcher and installed it for same message. I have reset connection, reinstalled ETS2 for same message. I reverted back to 1.28 and still got same launcher message.

 

Please help as I am not technological smart.

Solution 1: If your game is still running in the background, you have to close it first.

Solution 2: If that's not the case, try to run the launcher as administrator.

Solution 3: Open the folder C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP and delete the core_ets2mp.dll. Start the launcher and install the available updates.

Do you launch the game with DirectX?
