It will be released when its ready, there is no ETA for release. You just need to be patient, and when its released, you'll know about it. Just keep an eye on the forums or social media for updates when its released. I can tell you with full confidence that the Developers are more than aware of the 1.28 version release, and will be working to make it compatible for multiplayer as soon as they can, if they haven't already. If you want to play multiplayer, I suggest you downgrade to the 1.27 version, help for this can be found here.
