[VIVΛ HH] KЯΛVΛTIΞ

Question

This is the specs of the computer i am getting (On a budget) but i am using some 2nd hand products but I am aware that the graphics card is alright at gaming because i managed to play a wide array of games on ultra but is the rest of the specs capable of gaming?

Case: zalman z3 plus white

Mobo: Intel DX48BT2

CPU: either a intel dual core  E8400  (6M Cache, 3.00 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB) or a intel Quad Core Processor Q9550S 12M Cache, 2.83 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB) - Which ever CPU will be more better for gaming

RAM: 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM but may upgrade to 8GB

HDD: Seagate barracuda 7200.12 500GB x2

Power supply:  EVGA 500B 500W 80+ BRONZE PC Power Supply

Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce Plait  GTX 460.

You will probably want the q9550S out of the two, it's newer and quad core(comparison of the two: http://ark.intel.com/compare/33910,40815).

Though I'd say you should save up a bit if you got a tollerable machine and get a newer socket so you have a bit more room to upgrade later on, with the configuration you got there you are getting a machine that is 5+ years old essentially.
