paint mods

hi, i was wondering why there was no way to use mods in MP, i know there are mods to "increase power" and stuff but like the cosmetic mods why cant i use them like custom paints

This sort of mods are currently not supported, this means you'll have to use the base game skins and those that come from DLC's.

These mods cant be used as truckersmp cannot change what is already in the game. Also this would cause others game to crash as their would be conflicts with others games

MP cant have many mods due to multiple reasons but here is something that might help you.

Hello,

 

This can cause people games to crash like it did with the paint on cars when they came out. It made peoples game crash hence why they banned paint on cars. And just think about it. 1.5 million requesting their own paint job mod on mp? That would take literally ages for the developers to add. This would also be bad for the people who have small hard drives as they would have to request all those paint mods.
