Hey there

 

Just wondering how it is that im doing 55 mph unloaded on the flat and lorries fully loaded are speeding past me like im at a stand still. Is there a mod that im unaware off that we can use?

Hi cdtjuk,

 

Please ensure the following variables have been checked:

 

1. You have not got your truck speed limiter activated in the in-game settings. To turn this off - Go to options, gameplay, find 'Truck Speed Limiter' and then untick / deselect this option. 

 

2. Ensure you are not using a world of trucks contract. Please note: world of trucks contracts are limited to a certain speed, wheras freight market contracts are not.

3. Ensure you are not playing on server #EU1 - This is a speed limited server. 

 

4. Ensure in the multiplayer tab settings you do not have the speed limiter set, to turn this feature off: Establish a connection in-game on multiplayer, press the TAB key on your keyboard, right click to show the cursor, click the settings icon, go to the general tab, untick / deselect the speed limiter option. 

 

* Other plausible explanations: Individual(s) overtaking is using a 'save edited' truck with a high bhp engine.
