What is the red Trailer with "Texture" on it

Dear Team of Truckers MP,

 

First of all Thanks for this awesome possibillity to play ETS and ATS with friends and other "Truckers" from the whole World together.

After playing a couple of days I have a question: What are the red Trailers with the Text "texture" on it which I see by some other guys.

I also wanna to create a own skin for me and my friends for driving in a convoy but thought its not possible because a Trailer Mod (f.e. two sided Schmitz Cargo Bull) will changes the game content and its so not possible.

 

But when I see this kind of Trailers maybe there is a possibillity?

Hey there,  These are the replacements for the trailers from the Schwarzmuller DLC (MP replaces the DLC files with non-DLC ones, so your game won't crash when come across a user who is using a trailer from that DLC)

 

About adding your own skin/mod to the game: Sadly this causes a lot of trouble (every user must have the the same skins/mods or otherwise their game will crash because its missing the required files

Thanks for youre welcome words and also youre quick answer.

That makes totally sense. I understand: My client (without owning this Schwarzmüller DLC) have to see "something" instead of crashing.

I also understand totally and agree with the Discussion that no one wanna to download every Skin before connection on a Server. There would be to much trouble.

But could this "red texture" graphic not be a solution for this problem?

I mean: A group wanna to make a convoj with the own skinned trailer. Every Client of this Group load the skinned Mod (which is to define before by some administration). So evyerbody with this loaded Mod see the Skin and anybody else become the red texture Skin.

 

Or is this just wishful thinking could not be handled by youre MP Modification? Thanks for youre conversation.
