Launcher not opening, no error.

So I haven't played multiplayer for a while and wanted to come back after the new updated however I try to open the launcher nothing happens, no error, no nothing.

I've tried opening with admin but still nothing.

It shows up in task manager then disappears after like 5 seconds.

I have the latest version of ets2 and ets2mp.
Euro truck opens fine from steam but nothing from the launcher.

Plz help. Thx.

Try the .NET Repair tool

Make sure that you don't have MSI Afterburner or RivaTuner open.

Did you download the launcher recently? Try to run it as an administrator and see what happens.

 

If you still having a problem, uninstall the launcher then:

 

1.Windows key+R

2.Type %ProgramData%

3.Delete TruckersMP folder

4.Re-install and run the launcher as Administrator.

5.Report back to us.

Hi there,

 

I used to get this problem, here's what I used to do.

 

Attempt to open the multiplayer and it would not work.

I would open Steam and a message would come up informing you that its attempting to launch with optional parameters. Click 'Ok' to this.

Then this will load up normal ETS 2.

Then let the game load properly and close it down.

Close down Steam.

Make sure in task manager that multiplayer is not trying to still load.

Attempt to re-launch.

 

I hope this helps because it works every time with me, if not tell me what happens when you try this and I will see if I can help further.

Closing RivaTuner Statistics Server (6.6.0) and MSI Afterburner (4.3.0) worked for me.

In the meanwhile I've updated RivaStatistics Server to 7.0.0 Beta 19 and it also did the trick.
