How can I enable a sound mod in ETS2MP?

I have tried to use Kriechbaum's Scania V8 open pipe sound in ETS2MP, but the mod manager shows no mods, and loaded mods have no icons and have a red exclamation symbol. The default Scania sounds in-game are too bland, and sound weak.

You cannot use mods / some DLC in ETS 2 MP.

You won't be able to use third party mods on mp due to people having to downloading the mod and taking up loads of storage. Sorry. There are only a few mods which are allowed. But scania sounds and things like that are not allowed. You can check here and it will give you a full explanation on what mods are allowed and what mods are not allowed.

But if you're struggling to use mods on single player, this is probably because you're not placing them correctly into the mod folder. What you need to do is once you have downloaded it via your internet browser. It should come up at the bottom of the browser above your taskbar like this

I would highly advise to use WinRAR or 7zip. Once it has downloaded as a WinRAR or 7zip then click on the download and then you should get a folder which looks like this (Using the BMW mod which I used yesterday)

It has to be an SCS file which you need to move into the mod folder

 

Once you have completed that then proceed into euro truck simulator 2 and once it loads up the profiles screen you should find at the right side of your screen 'Mod Manager' Click that then find the mod you downloaded (Should be the same name as your folder) then click it twice then it should automatically move to the right of your screen then once you have finished click 'Enable' which is at the bottom.
