Can't launch mp

Today I tried to run the ETS 2 MP and it shows this message error 
"Windows cannot access the especified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

And when I try to do it with a shortcut tro steam it says: 'Failed to launch the game'

Try launching ETS2MP with admin privileges, that should solve the problem

I had a similar problem. What worked for me is to uninstall both the multiplayer mod and ETS2 game then reinstall.

1. Check the file path is correct

2. Make sure your computer account is administrator (using control panel)

3. Right click on the icon and press run as admin
