Disconnected when parked

Hello all,

 

I'm new to ETS2MP and loving it! However, do you need to be active to be online?

 

The past couple of sessions, I've parked up at a parking area or at parking spot past the petrol station, switched the engine off, handbrake on, then gone for a loo, coffee and a smoke, and then return to see 'OFFLINE' in the top right corner. 

 

I then save, exit, reboot ETS2MP and it's fine. It's not happened when I'm actually driving, just happens if I park up and leave the cab for 5-10 minutes.

 

Any help is much appreciated

When you have been standing still for 5-10 minutes you automatically get AFK kicked. You can easily reset the timer though, just move a few meters or type something (e.g. /players) in chat every few minutes.
